This page explains what data the Calm Sleep for Autism app by Alfa1 Stars keeps and how you can delete it. The app has no user accounts and never asks for your name, e-mail address or Google account.
The following stays in the app's private storage on your device and is never uploaded:
Voice recordings you make in the app
Sleep Log entries
Saved playlists, custom presets and app settings
How to delete it:
Voice recordings: open the Sound Mixer, tap the microphone icon next to My voice / Recording and delete recordings with the trash buttons.
Sleep Log: menu (⋮) → Sleep Log → bin icon (Clear log).
Saved playlists: menu (⋮) → Delete playlist, or Delete all user playlists to remove them all at once.
Everything at once: menu (⋮) → Reset settings removes voice recordings, the Sleep Log, presets and settings (saved playlists are kept). To remove absolutely everything, open Android Settings → Apps → Calm Sleep for Autism → Storage and clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
To see how the app is used and to fix errors, the app sends the following to Google Firebase:
Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase): which screens and features are used, a random identifier created for this installation, the device model and Android version, and the approximate location (country and city) that Google derives from the IP address.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): the technical cause of an error, the device model, the Android and app version, and a random installation identifier.
The app does not collect your device's Advertising ID, and this data is not linked to your name, e-mail address or Google account. It is deleted automatically: Google Analytics deletes detailed event data after 2 months and user-level data after 14 months, and crash reports are deleted after 90 days. Aggregated statistics, such as the number of users per country, may remain without any link to you.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage stops any further collection. If you install the app again, it gets a new random identifier.
If you would like us to delete data or have any question about it, write to alfa1stars@gmail.com. We will reply and delete everything we can match to your request; we will not ask you for any personal information to do so.
If you unlock the full version, the payment is processed entirely by Google Play; we never see your payment details. The purchase stays with your Google account, which is how the app can be unlocked again after you reinstall it. The app itself keeps only, on your phone, when your free trial started and whether it is unlocked.
